Pseudo-Secularism

Hindu dharma is implicitly at odds with monotheistic intolerance. What is happening in India is a new historical awakening... Indian intellectuals, who want to be secure in their liberal beliefs, may not understand what is going on. But every other Indian knows precisely what is happening: deep down he knows that a larger response is emerging even if at times this response appears in his eyes to be threatening.

All are truly equal before the majesty of law, irrespective of caste, creed or religion: Allahabad High Court

In the present day vitiated and perverted atmosphere all over India, where the contagion of ‘bogus-secularism’ is eating into the vitals of the nation, infecting and inflicting everyone, everything, everywhere, proliferating and increasing the bulk of our renegade, ‘secular-anti-Hindu’ politicians who play havoc in the body politic of the country by their nasty, divide-and-rule-game, fragmenting the society, nay tearing asunder the social fabric, all in the guise of their blessed secularism-cum-minoritism policy, pampering and supporting the dirty vote bank politics (which is in fact the bane of our country and the root cause of all the ills in our body politic), comes the breath of fresh air! And that is, the timely judgment of the Allahabad High Court, for the good health and betterment of the body politic in India. All kudos to the higher echelons of law!

Unlike the currently renowned Dravidian ‘Amma’ of Tamil Nadu, who time and again sermonizes from her St. Fort George pulpit, (only) Hindus in general and the Kanchi Math and its revered Acharyas in particular, that ‘all are equal before law’, the Allahabad High Court has actually shown it by its sincere and earnest endeavors and the latest landmark judgment which declared that since the Hindu Law provides for maintenance of estranged wives, Muslim women too, therefore, entitled to it under the constitution. This is indeed one hundred percent ‘true secularism’ by which is meant that in a Hindu Nation that is Bharat, comprising more than 85% Hindus, the state does not discriminate between the citizens because of their way of worship or persuasions, and that all are truly equal before the majesty of law, without any minority or majority rights, and that what right the majority has, the same is equally applicable to the so-called minority too, and that they shall have no claim for any special minority right in a truly, one hundred per cent secular country.

According to the media reports, on Feb. 4, the Allahabad High Court directed a Muslim to pay Rs. 1000 as maintenance to his estranged wife, saying Muslim women cannot be discriminated against. Justice S. N. Srivastava said the Constitution mandated that there could not be any discrimination on the basis of caste, creed or religion. The Hindu law provided for maintenance in such cases and Muslim women were also, therefore, entitled to it under the Constitution, the judge said, directing the man, Islam (‘peace’ be unto him), to pay Rs. 1000 a month as maintenance to his estranged wife, Fatima (may Allah bless and protect her). The court, Judge ruled, could grant interim maintenance to them despite the fact that there was no such specific provision under Sharia, the Muslim law.
