Thiruvananthapuram : Recently some of the Sanatan Seekers & HJS members had visited Jagadguru Swami Satyanand Saraswati, Mathadhipati of Shri Rama Dasa Mission, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, for getting his blessings for the mission of 'Rashtraraksha and Dharmajagruti'. 'Don't wait to defend; be offensive', was the reply given by H. H. Swami Satyanand Saraswati, when asked about the surge in Islamic fundamentalism and terrorism in the country and the non-interest of the Indian Government regarding the same. 'As per Rig-Veda, if anybody anywhere is growing against us, we should smash them. We should not
wait for him to attack. Lord Krushna in Bhagwadgita has said ' Mâm Anusmara Yudhashch' i.e. 'Think of me and fight', Swamiji added.

Regarding what should be our step, Swamiji said that 'Islamic terrorism cannot be resisted through ethical means. The Muslims live in this country but they don't want to follow the rules of this land. Only fight can solve the problem. So they should be smashed. We should fight. Sanyasis should not be beggars but should become the one who fights for Dharma. Why did Lord Rama and Lord Krushna take birth? Lord Rama's killing of Ravana is for us to learn from Him.'

Speaking about the population of Hindus, He said that considering the world's population, Hindus are minorities whereas Muslims and Christians are majorities. In Malappuram, a Muslim dominated district of Northern Kerala, also known as mini-pakistan, four constituencies have been added thereby increasing the Muslims' bargaining power. The Muslim population is increasing at a very fast rate. When a Muslim purchases land he purchases it for his community whereas Hindus sell their land to Muslims for their personal needs.

Speaking about the state of Hindus, Swamiji said that Hindus are now communally and organizationally split. In Ramayana, we see the best politically organized and religiously based society. For destroying the Ravanas of modern times we should have our bow (weapon) like Rama had.

We use the word Indians. That is a word given by Britishers and has no meaning. Our country is Bharat. Bharat originated from the words Bhas that means enlightenment and Rati that means affection or affinity. Bharatiya is the one who is aiming at knowledge as the aim of his life.

Swamiji also told that Hindus should now carry weapons with them. At least for our self protection. Do not do exercises just for keeping fit, but learn to fight.
