Dishonorable criticism on Hindu religion, Deities and Brahmins as also on National Leaders !
Sindhudurg :The Sindhudurga District Reservation Committee (SDRC) had organized a conference in support of reservetion for other backward classes at Anant Muktai Hall. In this conference, all the speakers used very dishonorable language while criticizing Hindu religion, Deities and Brahmins. They did not leave even national leaders from such criticism.
Shri. C. A. Jadhav, Ratnagiri District President of Republican Party alleged that due to Pandit Nehru’s conspiracy, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar could not give effect to his plan of reservations for other backward classes. Shri. Shivaji Desai, the district president of Maratha Seva Sangh said that Mandal Commission and Hunter Commission are just creating an impression that they have thorough knowledge of the Hindu religion and culure. Hindu religion is an illusion and we have given it a kick. Now we have to retire their 33 crores of deities.
Brahmins are responsible to trap everyone in God and religion. These Brahmins had refused to perform coronation ceremony of Shivaji Maharaj branding him as a ‘shudra’. If Shivaji Maharaj was ‘shudra’ then who are we, his descendents? Due to Brahmins, we were called ‘shudras’. Therefore, they should be drowned in the sea. Other backward classes should be given the benefit of reservation in proportion of their population. The power and wealth in this country is in the hands of a few highly educated Brahmins. The income from temples which is in lakhs of rupees, goes to Brahmins. Is it not a kind of reservation for Brahmins? Prof. Sushama Andhari criticized Smt. Shalinitai Patil, the Rashtravadi Congress MLA for her anti-reservation stand.
She said that Pandit Nehru was not in favour of reservation. She further claimed that Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar had said that Congress party was a house on fire, whoever steps in this house, would get burnt. Lokmanya Tilak was never accepted by people. Mahatma Gandhi never tried to realize other person’s soul. The death anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar is our festival. People belonging to higher caste do not participate in this festival therefore, even we should not participate in Ganesh festival, she appealed. Other office bearers of SDRC, Bahujan Vikas Front and Charmakar Kruti Samiti attended the conference.
