Pseudo-Secularism

Hindu dharma is implicitly at odds with monotheistic intolerance. What is happening in India is a new historical awakening... Indian intellectuals, who want to be secure in their liberal beliefs, may not understand what is going on. But every other Indian knows precisely what is happening: deep down he knows that a larger response is emerging even if at times this response appears in his eyes to be threatening.

Declare Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as terrorist states -- ICAT

12/12/2008 14:29:30 Press Release

The International Campaign Against Terrorism (ICAT), an umbrella group of various non-governmental organizations concerned about rising international terrorism, expresses deep shock, revulsion and anger over the dastardly malicious and barbaric terrorist attack on November 26 th 2008 on Mumbai, the financial capital of India. By this well-orchestrated terrorist attack on Mumbai, Jihadi terrorists and their masters have openly declared war against India, the largest multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-religious, and pluralistic democracy of the world. Like 9/11, the terrorists wanted to shut down Indian economy, create chaos and trigger sectarian unrest. We note that this Jihadi attack bore all the fingerprints of Pakistani Inter Service Intelligence (ISI), Al-Qaeda, Lashkar-e-Toiba, and Jamaat-ul-Dawaa based in Pakistan. The synchronized nature of attack and meticulous planning and commando style operation clearly demonstrates Pakistani military and ISI involvement. Pakistani government can not conveniently shift the blame for this terrorist attack on non-state actors. Pakistani government is criminally culpable for allowing them to operate without imputiny from Pakistani territory.

The ICAT expresses heart-felt condolences to the families of 195 dead and more than three hundred wounded victims. We strongly condemn selective targeting of innocent civilians, a Jewish synagogue and a women's and children's hospital where vulnerable patients were slaughtered by terrorists. We salute the Indian security and police forces who laid down their lives in the line of duty while trying to save as many innocent civilians. The ICAT expresses complete solidarity with the people of India in this time of need. We sincerely urge the Government of India to take urgent, effective, tough and pre-emptive measures against the Jihadi terrorists operating from Pakistani territory.

The ICAT demands that the international community and the UN immediately designate Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as terrorist states because all international terrorist attacks have their origins from Pakistan and financing from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ICAT further demands that the concerned ISI officials are immediately arrested and extradited to India to face justice. The ICAT demands that all international assets of Saudi Arabia should be immediately seized and frozen so as to pay for its crimes against humanity and compensate the victims and their families. The ICAT demands that the UNSC should immediately declare terrorism as a war crime and as genocide and prosecute the culprits under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court at The Hague.
